Multiple offers on Macomb County MI homes for sale – the new trend we are seeing

July 3rd, 2012 · No Comments · chesterfield township, macomb county mi real estate market, tips for home buyers

My last post about the homes that are selling in Chesterfield Township and New Baltimore illustrated how the  real estate market is going for this northeastern area of Macomb County.

Recently I’ve had buyer clients experience this first hand.   Both Chesterfield Township homes that my buyer clients have purchased have had multiple offers on them.   The most recent was a home that was only on the market for 3 days and had 6 offers in on it.  I’m sure it would have had more if the listing agent didn’t give a deadline for offers to be received.

Thankfully, the sellers of this home chose my buyer clients offer out of the 6 that were presented to them.

Multiple offers on a clean, well priced home in any area of Macomb County is not unusual.  In fact, I let my buyer clients know this upfront early in the “looking” process.   The days of have some time to “sleep on it” are over.  If you like a home, it is in your price range, and you can picture yourself living there then you need to make a decision fast.
