How’s the real estate market in Macomb County MI?

November 3rd, 2008 · 1 Comment · macomb county MI, macomb county mi real estate market

Don’t let the headlines fool you.  Homes are selling in our county, including homes over $200,000.  Yes, people can still get mortgages. Yes, there is help available for home buyers.  And no, I don’t know where the “bottom” of the market is.

I cannot predict the future – all I can do is show you in raw hard numbers that homes are selling in all areas of Macomb County.

During the month of October 2008 the following is being reported by Mirealsource™ and it’s participating brokers and real estate agents:

598 homes sold in Macomb County MI. Sold prices ranged from $4000 on a bank owned (foreclosure) home located on Stephens in Center Line MI to the lovely home on Middle Branch Court in Macomb Township that sold for $490,000.

219 homes sold between $100,000 and $200,000.

277 homes sold under $100,000. (If the homes were sold to first time home buyers they will be should be eligible for the $7500 tax credit.  Ask me about the tax credit.)

102 homes sold over $200,000. This debunks the rumors that if a home is not a bank owned home or priced over $200,000 that it won’t sell.  Baloney.  102 home sellers achieved their goal last month: Their homes sold.

If you want to know the real truth about home sales in Macomb County MI – whether they be by occupied home owners or bank owned / foreclosures please ask your local real estate professional or feel free to email or phone me.   I would be happy help you in a non-pressured atmosphere.

Tony, I thank you for your invitation but will have to decline.

I went and peeked at your site and even though it is well written and designed it is “ad heavy” and that is something I want to avoid here.

    Again, thanks for the invitation.
